“100 guitares sur un bateau ivre” (“100 guitars on a drunken boat“) an innovative musical project created by Gilles Laval in 2017, echoes the iconic work of Glen Branca and the visionary compositions of Rhys Chatham. This one-of-a-kind project features 100 electric guitars in a breathtaking artistic performance. Inspired by the French poem by Arthur Rimbaud, it embodies an "eco-poetic" experience that evokes the majesty and mystery of the ocean. “100 guitares sur un bateau ivre” is more than just a musical work; it is also a collaborative adventure. At each new stage, in a new city, the project comes to life through the participation of local musicians and community structures. It is a celebration of musical diversity and collective creativity.
